Methods of Control

Aircraft control can be used in the following types of scenarios.

Aircraft control without creating a mission

The VBS3Strike instructor can take aircraft control at any moment via the Air Platform Analysis window. The instructor is able to define a target to attack via the aircraft control view.

Aircraft control with a mission without any task

After a mission is created via the ‘Aircraft Check In’ panel, the instructor can switch to aircraft control view via the ‘Aircraft Analysis’ and select ‘Aircraft Control’.

Aircraft control with a mission created with tasks

Once a mission is created with tasks assigned from the 'VBS3Strike Instructor Control' panel, the instructor can switch to the aircraft control view of one of the aircrafts on that mission. Thereon the instructor can follow the red arrow pointer for directions and the firing circle will display the appropriate range of time for the weapon to be fired.

Note:
Re-Attack button is disabled for any of the task which is created from manual control without involvements of the Instructor Control Panel.
